Social Signoff

Terms of Service

Last updated August 30, 2026

What Social Signoff is

Social Signoff is a collaborative social media tool operated by Montana Homeplace LLC: team members draft posts, workspace admins review and approve them, and approved posts are published to the social media accounts the workspace has connected. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Social Signoff on behalf of an organization, you agree on that organization's behalf too.

Your account and workspace

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Workspace admins control who joins their workspace, what gets published, and which social accounts are connected. Admins can edit or remove contributors' drafts and remove members.
  • You must be legally able to enter into these terms and old enough to hold accounts on the social platforms your workspace publishes to.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything your team creates in Social Signoff — captions, photos, and videos. You give us permission to store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the service: showing drafts to your team, and delivering approved posts to the social platforms your workspace connected. We claim no other rights to it.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and publish — including photo permissions and music or artwork licenses — and for making sure published posts comply with the rules of the platforms they're published to.

Acceptable use

Don't use Social Signoff to:

  • publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights;
  • violate the terms or content policies of Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform posts are published to;
  • send spam, distribute malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other workspaces, or other users' data;
  • resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with its operation.

Connected social accounts

When an admin connects Facebook or Instagram, Social Signoff publishes only the posts your admins explicitly approve, using the access the platform granted. Publishing depends on those platforms' APIs staying available and the connection remaining authorized — if a platform revokes access, changes its API, or rejects a post, we'll surface the error but can't guarantee delivery. You can disconnect an account at any time in Settings.

Privacy

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect only what the service needs, we don't sell your data, and you can request deletion at any time via our data deletion instructions.

Termination

You can stop using Social Signoff and request deletion of your account or workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users or the platforms we integrate with, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Social Signoff is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any post will be published at a particular time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Social Signoff and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify workspace admins. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms: koops.maggie@gmail.com.
